St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated all over the world by the Irish and Irish at heart with parades, wearing of green, music and songs, Irish food and beverages, activities for the kids, and more. The Lake Erie Shores & Islands has a variety of events, some that have become tradition, and a few that will have you leaping like a leprechaun.

March 13-18, 2015
St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebration
Chez François/Touché Wine Bar, 555 Main St., Vermilion

Featuring specials on Irish Ales and Stouts, flights of small-batch Irish Whiskey and Irish coffee. In addition, Chef John D’Amico will feature a four-course “St. Patrick’s Day” menu for $45. Wear something green and join in the fun!

St. Patrick’s Day-themed Cabaret

In the style of the 1942 film, Irving Berlin’s “Holiday Inn” starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, where every holiday prompted singing and dancing, Bellevue Society for the Arts is proud to announce their St. Patrick’s Day-themed Cabaret at 7 pm. The menu will consist of coleslaw, shepherd’s pie or pasta primavera, soda bread, and banoffee pie, as well as a cash bar featuring a selection of beer and wine. Must be 21 or older with valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages. Reservations are required.

It’s once again time for the ‘luck of the Irish’ to visit Milan! Create your own lucky shamrock; all you need is a frame, buttons, paper, glue and more buttons. Start the day with entertainment by The Jess Harris Project at 8 am, followed by Paulunplugged at noon, and Jay Gurrero at 3:30 pm. Stay for the all-you-can eat wing buffet at 5 pm and trivia with music provided by DJ Corn. Enjoy a Reuben. Prizes for the best green outfit.
