A once-in-a-lifetime chance to sail aboard the When & If, General Patton's personal yacht. In 1939, then Colonel General George S. Patton had a 63'5" John Alden-designed schooner built for himself and his wife. Another world war was looming on the horizon and Patton said that he planned to sail the schooner, "When the war is over, and if I survive." Four, 90-minute sails are being offered per day over the weekend departing from the Put-in-Bay Harbor. Space is limited; tickets may be ordered online.

Experience the Put-in-Bay fireworks aboard the When & If, General Patton's personal yacht. In 1939, then Colonel General George S. Patton had a 63'5" John Alden-designed schooner built for himself and his wife. Another world war was looming on the horizon and Patton said that he planned to sail the schooner, "When the war is over, and if I survive." In addition, four, 90-minute sails are being offered per day over the weekend departing from the Put-in-Bay Harbor. Space is limited; tickets may be ordered online.
