Cedar Point will celebrate its 139th summer of fun with the addition of Planet Snoopy, a new ride area built just for kids, a new family restaurant and two new live shows. Planet Snoopy is located just off of the Main Midway and is Cedar Point’s fourth designated kids’ area, joining Kiddy Kingdom, the Gemini Children’s Area and Camp Snoopy. This new area features seven rides, including a mini-tea cup, rocket ship and new, larger train ride; 4 x 4 monster trucks; a bouncing tower; spinning balloons and crazy sub rides. Parents will appreciate a new family center with changing stations and areas to feed children in a quiet, private atmosphere. There are also shaded areas and plenty of benches for relaxing while the kids and grandchildren laugh the day away. |

Two new shows highlight the entertainment package at Cedar Point this summer. “Snoopy’s Big Bowwow” is performed in the Good Time Theatre. Snoopy and 14 other world-class skaters are featured in a high-energy ice skating show that includes precise skating routines, lively music and colorful costumes. Across the midway near the Cedar Point Beach, a new bicycle stunt show provides a close-up look at extreme biking. Skilled bikers wow and amaze guests of all ages with their aerobatic tricks and unbelievable stunts and maneuvers. |

With an astonishing collection of 17 (a world record) roller coasters, Cedar Point is a thrill-seeker’s dream come true. From the towering 42-story tall, 120 mph Top Thrill Dragster to the kid friendly 19 foot tall Jr. Gemini, Cedar Point has coasters of all shapes, sizes, designs and thrill levels. Last year’s smash hit, Maverick, is back and ready to take even more guests on a wild journey through the Old West. |

In fact, Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends has been voted the “Best Seasonal Event” by the readers of Theme Parks Magazine for two years in a row. Last year’s hit event, the “Monster Midway Invasion Celebration,” a family-friendly HalloWeekends parade, is back and bigger than ever! Challenge Park Challenge Racing features two racetracks built for speed. The Sprint track features tight turns and fast straightaways while the Grand Prix track tests the skills of the best drivers. (Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to drive on the Sprint track and at least 16 years old and provide valid identification to drive on the Grand Prix track. |

The RipCord Skycoaster takes its tethered passengers to an amazing height of 150 feet above the ground before dropping them straight down and through a 310 foot long “zoom zone” at speeds of up to 65 mph! (Flyers must be at least 48 inches tall on RipCord.) X-Treme Trampoline combines the excitement of extreme sport jumping with a Bungee cord system that safely propels guests up to 24 feet in the air. (Guests on X-Treme Trampoline must be between 30-200 pounds to participate.) Also included is a state-of-the-art arcade and a food stand with hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks. Challenge Park is open to the public and admission to Cedar Point is not required. Each attraction requires a separate fee. |

Pint-sized fun is also found at Soak City as the waterpark features two areas kids can call their own — Tadpole Town and Choo-Choo Lagoon. Tadpole Town is located among the towering water slides of Soak City and features water slides, geysers, squirt guns and more. Choo-Choo Lagoon features a giant-sized toy train that kids can climb on and play around while getting totally soaked. Two small water slides and a miniature Main Stream river also await kids around Choo-Choo Lagoon. Children two years and under are admitted free to Soak City. |

There are a variety of places for guests who want to take a break from all of the action at Soak City. Renegade River and Main Stream offer water-lovers an option when it comes to a relaxing inner tube river ride. Bubbles Swim-Up Bar is an adults-only swim-up refreshment center that features bar stools that are actually in the water! Guests can even rent their own private cabana. Located next to the Breakers Bay wave pool, these exclusive cabanas feature four chaise lounges, a dining table with umbrella and four chairs, four wave pool tubes and a lockable storage drawer. Guests can order food and beverages, including adult beverages, which are available through a walk-up server or a courtesy phone. |

Soak City also offers guests a wide variety of lounge areas for those who want to work on their suntan or find a quiet spot to read a book or catch a nap. For convenience, Soak City also has a food court, lockers, showers, rest rooms, changing facilities and a merchandise shop with everything from swimsuits to suntan lotion. |

Soak City will be open daily, May 24 – Sept 1. Operating hours will vary throughout the summer. Proper swimwear is required for admission to Soak City. Applicable height requirements are enforced on Soak City attractions. | |||
