New Team Member at Shores & Islands Ohio

SHORES & ISLANDS OHIO, July 23, 2024 --- Emily Messino of Marblehead, Ohio recently joined the staff at Shores & Islands Ohio, the area’s destination marketing organization. Emily is the new Partner Relations Manager. She will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with area tourism industry partners. She serves as the main point-of-contact between partners and the organization including partner opportunities and service of accounts. She is responsible for partner package sales including travel guide and website advertising and other special promotions. She is part of the organization’s Destination Development and Visitor Experience Team.

Previously Emily served as Director of Events at Gideon Owen Wine Company and former Vice President of Hospitality, Manager of Conference and Events, and other positions at Lakeside Chautauqua. A graduate of the University of Mount Union, Emily moved to the Shores & Islands Ohio region after an internship with Lakeside Chautauqua, falling in love with the area. Emily was the previous recipient of the S&IO Honorable Mention S.H.O.R.E. Hospitality award for her work at Gideon Owen.
