Welcome to winter in Ohio's Lake Erie Shores & Islands! Welcome also, to a new year full of opportunities to get out an experience the region. While it may seem things are a little bit slower throughout the winter months, the fun here never slows down. With northern Ohio's ever-changing weather landscape, we find creative ways to both embrace the season and deny it by warming up indoors with hot events. Ice-A-Fair - Downtown Vermilion

Celebrate all things cold with beautiful ice carvings and demos, trolley tours throughout the historic neighborhood, shopping, dining, and a day capped by a dazzling display of Fire and Ice in the center of town.
Burning Snowman Fest - Waterworks Park, Port Clinton

Burn up winter at the Burning Snowman Fest. The all-day event features live music by local and regional bands and craft brews. The climax is the burning of a giant paper snowman to call for spring to arrive. The music festival is the centerpiece of a citywide event designed to make Port Clinton a “hot” destination. Bars and restaurants around town will have special music and themed events to coincide with the festival.

Roots & Boots Tour - Sandusky State Theatre, Sandusky

Three of the voices that defined 90s country music - Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Collin Raye - join forces in the Roots and Boots tour. Don’t miss these iconic country artists as they come together to swap stories and perform their classic songs all on one stage.
Dan Navarro - The Listening Room, Port Clinton

Dan Navarro writes and sings songs from the heart, delivered with soulful energy. His eclectic resume includes songwriting for Pat Benatar, The Bangles, and Dave Edmunds; singing on records by Neil Young, Luis Miguel, and Andrea Bocelli; seventeen albums of his own; and singing and voice acting in Happy Feet, Coco, The Lorax, and American Dad.
Taste of the North Coast - Cedar Point Sports Center, Sandusky

The Erie County Chamber of Commerce presents the 10th annual Taste of the North Coast. This is your opportunity to taste a variety of food, beer, and wine from local businesses all in one place.
The Great Lakes Home, Flower, and Craft Show - Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, Sandusky

The Great Lakes Home, Flower, and Craft Show, at the beautiful Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, will feature over 200 home show and 140 craft show exhibits. There will also be landscaping displays and kids’ activities.
Mozart to Queen...and Everything in Between! - Sandusky State Theatre, Sandusky

The Firelands Symphony Orchestra presents a musical journey through the centuries! Begin in 1786 with Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, an opera buffa (opera comedy) with an Italian libretto written by Da Ponte. Fast-forward into the 20th century as the FSO and Chorale perform “Bohemian Rhapsody,” a song made famous by British rock band Queen for their 1975 album, A Night at the Opera. We will, we will, rock you!
Leaps & Hops - Merry-Go-Round Museum, Sandusky

Finding Neverland - Sandusky State Theatre, Sandusky

Hits include, "What's In It For Me," "Standing On The Edge Of Goodbye," "I Think About It All The Time," "Your Love Amazes Me" (which earned Berry a 1995 GRAMMY nomination), "She's Taken A Shine," and more.
The Mambo Kings & Camille Zamora: Havana Nights - Sandusky State Theatre, Sandusky

From the sultry melancholy of Astor Piazzola and the burning Afro Cuban jazz of Tito Puente, to the rhythmic playfulness of jazz great Dave Brubeck and the pop strains of The Beatles, the Mambo Kings and star soprano, Camille Zamora will be your guide on a Latin jazz tour of the Pan American experience. The concert will feature original arrangements and compositions of music from the U.S., Perú, Argentina, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
