Fishing licenses and the Ohio Fishing Regulations Brochure (Pub. 84) are available from most sporting goods stores, bait shops, and the Ohio Division of Wildlife. Licenses are required for anyone 16 yrs. and older. One-year and Multi-year Resident and Non-resident fishing licenses are good for 365 days following the date of purchase. Prices are subject to change. Hunting licenses are also available. NOTE as of 4/6/2020 ODNR has stated: In response to the public health situation with COVID-19 and the Ohio Department of Health’s (ODH) Stay at Home Order, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife is temporarily suspending the sale of non-resident hunting and fishing licenses until further notice.

NOTE as of 4/6/2020 ODNR states: In response to the public health situation with COVID-19 and the Ohio Department of Health’s (ODH) Stay at Home Order, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife is temporarily suspending the sale of non-resident hunting and fishing licenses until further notice. Fishing licenses and the Oho Fishing Regulations Brochure (Pub. 5084) are available from most sporting goods shores, bait shops, and the Ohio Division of Wildlife. Licenses are required for anyone 16 yrs. and older. Rates:  Annual Resident*: (persons 16-65 yrs. who have resided in Ohio for the past six months): $19 *Fishing license good for 365 days following the date of purchase. Annual Non-resident*: $50.96 *Fishing license good for 365 days following the date of purchase. One-day Resident or Non-resident: $11 Non-Resident Lake Erie Fishing Permit*: $11 *Fishing license required for any non-residents fishing the Lake Erie Fishing District from Jan 1-Apr 30 Three-day Non-resident: $19 Resident Senior: (persons 66 yrs. and older): $10 Residents born on or before Dec 31, 1937*: Free *Fishing license still required. Prices are subject to change.
