Castalia State Fish Hatchery

The hatchery raises steelhead and rainbow trout and offers self-guided tours of 90 acres of serene grounds including outdoor walkways, a half-mile section of Cold Creek, and a "blue hole" aquifer. The area also provides excellent birding opportunities. The picnic shelter, tables, and grills are all closed from Jan-July 1. Mon-Fri 8 am-3 pm; closed weekends and holidays. Free admission.
