This 573-acre reserve is one of Ohio's best remaining examples of a natural estuary. As a transition zone between land and Lake Erie, Old Woman Creek State Nature Preserve & National Estuarine Research Reserve brings together many kinds of life. Birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and insects are drawn here. A visitors center offers exceptional learning exhibits. Large parking area, trails, restrooms, drinking fountain, checklist, and observation area. The public is welcome and trails are open sunrise-sunset.
