Schedel Gardens Hosts Mazur Exhibit
Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, 19255 W. Portage River S. Rd., Elmore
Contrasts will be showing now through October in the Brown Welcome Center at the Schedel Gardens.
Mazur has won numerous awards for both his artwork and teaching, including being twice honored with the Dorothy Uber Bryan award for outstanding service to the school of art and its students at BGSU. Mazur added, "For the very first time I'm combining "seascapes" with "landscapes" in hope they will emphasize each other's color strengths." He has done just that according to Pat and Marilyn McAlear (pictured) for whom the McAlear Gallery at SA&G is named. Mazur's works are quite large, some more than 4 feet by 6 feet and the abstracts just jump out at you according to the gallery's benefactors.
