NEW STAFF JOIN SHORES & ISLANDS OHIO

SHORES & ISLANDS OHIO, January 22, 2025 --- Shores & Islands Ohio, the destination marketing organization for Erie and Ottawa counties, recently welcomed two new staff members. Meaghan Reynolds and Nick Ollervides have both joined the S&IO team, promoting travel and tourism in the region.

Meaghan Reynolds of Port Clinton has joined the organization as Social Media Manager. A graduate of Ohio University, Meaghan previously worked in social media and marketing for Pink Lily, an online retailer, as well as Firelands Scientific and Fat Head’s Brewery. She also ran her own business, M of Hope, for five years. She also served as video content specialist for the Cleveland International Film Festival. Meaghan is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s social media channels, from content creation to social media trends, leveraging social media activities for the destination, influencer marketing, and social media monitoring. Nick Ollervides of Sandusky has joined S&IO in the role of Partner Engagement Manager. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Nick most recently was a Marketing and Advertising Account Executive with Buckeye Broadband. He also has experience as an instructor at BGSU Firelands, Multimedia Marketing Consultant for Tandem Media, and Social Media Coordinator at Catawba Island Brewing Company. Nick will leverage his expertise and network to promote S&IO promotional opportunities to prospective partners, including welcoming any new tourism-related businesses in the region. He will serve as the main liaison between Shores & Islands Ohio and its partners, making sure they are aware of and taking advantage of all marketing options available through the organization. Shores & Islands Ohio will hold its 2025 Annual Meeting, reviewing all of the previous year’s accomplishments and sharing plans for 2025 initiatives, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton.
