Compass Learning Series - Clean Water, Bright Future

Lake Erie, the shallowest and warmest of the Great Lakes, is vital to the environmental, economic, and recreational well-being of our region. However, its health faces ongoing challenges—from harmful algal blooms and nutrient runoff to invasive species and climate change impacts. These issues not only affect water quality and wildlife, but also tourism, fishing industries, and the drinking water supply for millions of people. Hear from two key organizations, the Lake Erie Foundation and The Ohio State University’s Stone Laboratory, who are working to safeguard Lake Erie’s future
