S&IO will be hosting a Partner Round Table on Tuesday, February 10 from 9-11 am at Gideon Owen Wine Company. Please join us from 8-9 am for networking & breakfast bites. Next, attendees will rotate between the Shores & Islands staff members to learn more about who does what, ask questions, and explore all the benefits of your partnership. Registration is FREE. Please register by 12:00pm on February 9th.
Tours with Gideon Owen staff will be available after the event. All attendees will receive an entry into a S&IO partnership gift pack as well as a discounted meal coupon from Gideon Owen.

How We Do It
We leverage a mix of proven marketing strategies—digital advertising, SEO, social media storytelling, video, public relations, group travel outreach, and print publications. SHORESandISLANDS.com serves as the hub for trip planning and inspiration, while we also provide partners with valuable tools such as cooperative marketing opportunities, training, and data insights.
How We’re Funded
Our efforts are fueled through a reinvestment model that benefits the entire region. A portion of the lodging tax collected from overnight stays in Erie and Ottawa counties directly supports our work, meaning visitors help fund future marketing and destination development. Additional support comes from cooperative programs and sponsorships with area businesses, strengthening both the visitor experience and the local economy.
