Middle Bass Island
Neighboring both Kelleys Island and South Bass Island (Put-in-Bay), Middle Bass Island blends nature and serenity on this secluded island getaway. Originally named Ile de Fleurs, or Island of Flowers, visitors can find beautiful lake views, beaches, marinas, a historic district, a wildlife refuge, and an Ohio state park. The historic Lonz Winery property reopened in 2017 as part of Middle Bass Island State Park. It features an open pavilion and museum-like exhibits in the cellars.
