Jon Limber Joins Team, Tiffany Frisch Promoted
SHORES & ISLANDS OHIO, May 8, 2025 --- Shores & Islands Ohio, the destination marketing organization for Erie and Ottawa counties, is pleased to announce a recent promotion and a new team member.
Tiffany Frisch of Sandusky has been promoted to Director of Group Accounts, part of the Shores & Islands Ohio senior leadership team. In this new role, she will manage the group accounts team and oversee the entire scope of group marketing and services, including meetings and conventions, group tour, and sports events.
Ms. Frisch, a graduate of Bowling Green State University, will mark her 10th anniversary with Shores & Islands Ohio this coming June, having served in various group-related positions over that time.
To address the growing interest from sports event organizers in hosting tournaments and competitions in the region, Shores & Islands Ohio has hired a dedicated Sports Tourism Coordinator. Jon Limber of Sandusky has joined the organization in that role.
Mr. Limber is a graduate of the University of Findlay, holding a bachelor's degree in communications. Over the past nine years, he has gained valuable experience in event entertainment and marketing, establishing strong local connections along the way. Jon has always had a passion for the Shores & Islands region.
“While world-class facilities like the Cedar Point Sports Center and Sports Force Parks have long drawn attention to our destination, and continue to do so, we are seeing a rising demand that goes beyond traditional venues. Organizers are increasingly looking to take advantage of everything the region has to offer – from the unique natural setting of Lake Erie to creative, outside-the-box sporting events that make use of our area’s diverse landscape and attractions,” says Frisch. “The Sports Tourism Coordinator will serve as a key liaison, ensuring we continue to attract and support a wide range of sporting events that drive economic impact and showcase Shores & Islands Ohio as a premier sports destination.”
