Now with two locations to serve the paddle community, Lake Erie Adventure Company offers rentals on the Huron River and at the Sandusky-Bayshore KOA Holiday Campground. Paddle boards and kayaks are available at both locations. In Huron, enjoy the serene sites of the iconic Huron Lighthouse and area wildlife. Or, explore Sandusky’s back bay for even more great wildlife (especially birds!) and view of Cedar Point.
Lakeside Chautauqua Watercraft Rentals, Lakeside/Marblehead
Located inside the Lakeside Chautauqua community (gate pass purchase required in-season), you can rent stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and Sunfish sailboats for use off the Lakeside beach. If you are staying in the resort community, consider one of the week-long sailing lessons. Children (ages 5-10) can also enjoy a free sailing experience on Sundays from mid-June through Labor Day.

Portage River Paddling Company, Port Clinton and Oak Harbor

Vermilion Marina, Vermilion
In addition to traditional boat rentals, Vermilion Marina on the Vermilion River offers 2021 Yamaha EXR Waverunners and Yamaha VX Cruisers for one or two riders. These watercraft can be rented anywhere from 1.5 to 8 hours for open lake riding between Huron on Lorain.
