Sandusky's Mini-Lighthouse Trail
A Light in the Harbor – Sandusky’s Mini-Lighthouse Trail Begun in 2008 and continued in 2011, this public arts project in Sandusky raised funds for the Merry-Go-Round Museum and American Red Cross. Miniature lighthouse sculptures were painted by local artists and put on display throughout the community. Many of the lighthouses were sold at auction to private donors. Today, a dozen lighthouses continue to be displayed for the enjoyment of the community and visitors. We’ve put together this trail so that you can visit and view each one.
