It’s all about family at The Arts Garage (TAG) in March as COUSINS Jeff Heaton, Theresa Heaton, Delores Oleksa, Jeanette Oleksa and Alisa Workman share their unique sense of art. The public is invited to a free exhibit opening reception on Friday, March 6 from 6-8 pm. The reception will also honor the art of Seth Bordner from March 5-15. Bordner died in 2017 and left a vast amount of art focusing on fused satire, social critique, and raw emotional expression.

These are the same games played at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance and be available to take photos with kids. Time Traveler History Talks: Retracing the Lake Shore Electric Railway

Continue our America 250 celebrations with Brian George of North Coast Narrative as we learn about the Lake Shore Electric Railway. Once regarded as the "greatest electric interurban in the country," it operated from 1901 to 1938 between Cleveland and Toledo, by way of Lorain, Sandusky, Norwalk, and Fremont. While the rails are long gone, many vestiges remain scattered along its former route, including bridge abutments, right-of-way terrain, and buildings. This presentation talks about how the Lake Shore Electric influenced transportation, recreation, urban development, and the economy, and explores where to find many of its remnants in today's landscape. Light refreshments will be served.
