Port Clinton

Port Clinton is known for world-class fishing, miles of beautiful Lake Erie shoreline, boating, beaches, island ferries, shopping, and entertainment. Local festivals and events take place almost every weekend. World-class musicians entertain at the intimate Listening Room. Liberty Aviation Museum and African Safari Wildlife Park are major attractions. Port Clinton is known as the “Walleye Capital of the World.” Don’t miss a unique New Year’s Eve tradition: Walleye Drop, where a 20-ft, 600-lb. fiberglass walleye is dropped to mark the beginning of the New Year.
